Meet Lauren

My story led me into alignment to study Ayurveda first and along the path of these beautiful and effective life sciences with yoga next. Both have helped tremendously in not only changing my life but being there in times I’ve needed and can always come back to.

After dealing with 4 years of significant health imbalances related to Lyme disease, I felt the frustration of living in a body that did not want to function on a daily basis and still having to. Not only did I not want to live feeling the way I did but also understanding that no one should have to live in those conditions. Having gone through numerous Lyme “treatments” and still not feeling like a human, I ventured to Kripalu out of curiosity, not really knowing I would find such clarity. Upon my first visit, I learned about Ayurveda. The light sparked and the clarity in what to do next was of no question.

While studying Ayurveda at Kripalu, I also worked through the Ayurveda lens and wisdom to flush out the lasting effects of Lyme disease and also long term imbalances that I had carried most of my life. Having also dealt with mental health imbalances through a large part of my childhood and early adulthood, Ayurveda and yoga have been there and helped support through those healing challenges and to find balance and ease. All to which has led me into more clarity and authenticity of a greater balanced human and evolving being.

After completing Ayurveda Health Counselor training at Kripalu, I returned to complete 200-hour Yoga teacher training through the yoga school. I also continue my studies in both areas. I am close to completing an Advanced Ayurveda Practitioner Training with Boston Ayurveda Inc and continue to explore my own being through yoga and practicing with different teachers to find the nectar.

All these practices have supported me through some heavy times and even greater transitions to come home to my own body and support my authenticity, harmony, and truth. I have been free of dealing with any residual Lyme effects, any previous imbalances, and have grown as a being to be more embodied, grounded and joyful in supporting my own true health and path forward.

I also have grasping interests in horses (bodywork, anatomy, energy, and interactions and interconnection), animals, nature, photography(digital and darkroom), and watching people come alive and settled in their illuminating truth!

I have three lovely horses that have taught me so much about life, myself, and themselves, and two very friendly dogs who keep the love and humor alive.
