After completing Ayurveda Health Counselor training at Kripalu, I returned to complete 200-hour Yoga teacher training through the yoga school. I continue to study Ayurveda with Boston Ayurveda Inc. and yoga on a personal level while also teaching classes.
All these practices have supported me through heavy times, transitions, and just in everyday life. All in effort to come home to my own body and support my authenticity, harmony, and truth.
I also have grasping interests in horses (bodywork, anatomy, energy, interactions and interconnection), animals, nature, photography(digital and film), reading, learning, and nature.
I have three amazing horses that have taught me so much about life, myself, and themselves, and two overly friendly dogs who keep the love and humor alive.

Meet Lauren
My story led me into alignment to study Ayurveda first and along the path of these beautiful and effective life sciences with yoga next. Both have helped tremendously in not only changing my life but being there in times I’ve needed and can always come back to.
I have dealt with my fair share of health imbalances. From childhood, Lyme disease, mental health. While sick with Lyme, I felt the frustration of living in a body that did not want to function on a daily basis. Not only did I not want to live feeling the way I did but also understanding that no one should have to live in with such feelings within the body. Having gone through numerous Lyme “treatments” and still not feeling like a human, I ventured to Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health out of curiosity, not knowing I walked into finding the path that changed my life. Upon my first visit, I learned about Ayurveda, the light sparked and the clarity in what to do next was of no question. Ayurveda school it was!
While studying Ayurveda at Kripalu, I also worked through the Ayurveda lens and wisdom to flush out the lasting effects of Lyme disease and also long term imbalances that I had carried most of my life. The change was one I was unsure would ever happen for the better. Ayurveda and yoga have been there to help support. All to which keeps me in tune with my body and self. It is an ever evolving process.
